Terms and conditions

1. Scope

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed via our online shop. Our online shop is aimed exclusively at consumers.

The term “consumer” is used to refer to a natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are mainly unrelated to his/her trade, business or profession.

2. Contractual partner, conclusion of contract

The contract of sale will be concluded with TAUTROPFEN Naturkosmetik GmbH (Louis-Appia-Passage 9, D-60314 Frankfurt am Main). The presentation of the products in the online shop is not a legally binding offer; it is merely an invitation for you to place an order.

Purchases only in normal household quantities.

By clicking on the button (buy / proceed to checkout), you will submit a binding offer to conclude a contract of sale for the goods listed on the order page. We will accept your offer by sending you a confirmation email, which will also contain our cancellation policy and our valid terms and conditions in text form.

3. Prices

The valid prices will be those displayed on our website at the time you place an order.

In addition to the prices shown, we charge a flat rate of EUR 5.70 per order for shipping within Germany (mainland). However, we offer free shipping within Germany (mainland) when you spend EUR 30.00 or more on goods.

Shipping to other EU countries, Great Britain, Norway and Switzerland depends on the destination country and weight of the order. From an order value of EUR 80.00, delivery to these countries is free of charge.

The shipping costs are clearly displayed on product pages, in the shopping basket and on the order page.

We generally only deliver to countries within the European Union (excluding Greece). Any exceptions will be subject to a separate agreement and must be clarified with us in advance. If goods are to be shipped to a country outside the European Union at your request, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper importation of the goods (customs clearance) and paying any charges incurred as a result.

All prices include the statutory rate of value added tax.

4. Delivery

Unless otherwise agreed, the ordered goods will be delivered to the shipping address you provide.

Our goods are delivered within Germany by DPD. It generally takes up to 5 working days (Monday to Friday) to deliver goods within Germany, depending on the size of the order and the availability of the goods.

5. Liability for defects and warranty

If your goods are defective, we will rectify the issue within a reasonable period by delivering a replacement or repairing the defect(s). If you request a repair but this would involve a disproportionate degree of expense and/or effort, we will be entitled to deliver a replacement instead, and vice versa. We will bear any necessary expenses incurred to rectify the issue. If we fail in our attempts to rectify the issue, you will be entitled to cancel your purchase or reduce the purchase price at your own discretion.

The defective goods must be returned to us, unless you have decided to reduce the purchase price instead.

Any claims for defects will expire within 2 years from the date of delivery.

The costs incurred for returning defective goods will be borne by us. If you wish to make a complaint, please write to info@tautropfen.com and describe the defect. We will provide you with a label to return the goods.

6. Reservation of title

The goods will remain our property until payment has been made in full.

7. Payment

We generally offer the following payment methods in our shop:

· Credit card (Visa or Mastercard)

· PayPal

8. Cancellation

All consumers have a right to cancel their purchases. More details can be found in the cancellation policy below.

9. Language of contract

The language of the contract – and the language of any declarations made throughout the course of the contract – will be German.



If you are a consumer (i.e. a natural person who places an order for purposes that are not related to your trade, business or profession), you have the right to cancel the contract in accordance with the statutory provisions.

If you exercise your right to cancel the contract as a consumer, you must bear the standard costs incurred to return the goods.

Further details on your right to cancel the contract can be found in the cancellation policy below.

1. Cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without stating your reasons for doing so.

The 14-day cancellation period will begin on the day the goods are handed over to you or a third party named by you, excluding the carrier.

If you wish to exercise your right to cancel the contract, you must inform us of your decision by sending an unequivocal statement (e.g. by post, fax or email) to TAUTROPFEN Naturkosmetik GmbH (Louis-Appia-Passage 9, D-60314 Frankfurt am Main, Tel.: +49 69 247 480 510, Fax: +49 69 247 480 520, Email: info@tautropfen.com).

In order to meet the deadline, you must merely submit the statement outlining your intention to cancel the contract before the end of the cancellation period.

2. Ramifications of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we must immediately reimburse all payments received from you, including shipping costs (except for any additional costs incurred if you do not choose our cheapest standard shipping) – at the latest within fourteen days of receiving notification of your intention to cancel the contract. We will make the refund with the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless alternative arrangements are explicitly agreed with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for the refund. We may refuse to make a refund until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided evidence to prove you have returned the goods, whichever comes first.

You must return or hand over the goods immediately – and at the latest within fourteen days of notifying us of your cancellation of the contract – to us or (insert the name and address of anyone else who may be authorised to accept goods on your behalf). The deadline will be met if you send off the goods before the end of the 14-day period.

You must bear any costs directly related to the return of the goods.

You must only pay for any depreciation of the goods if such depreciation is caused by the use of the goods in a manner that is not necessary to check their quality, properties and functionality.

The following types of contract cannot be cancelled:

· Contracts for the delivery of goods that may spoil quickly or soon pass their expiry date; and

· Contracts for the delivery of sealed goods which, for reasons pertaining to health, safety and hygiene, cannot be returned if the seal has been removed after delivery.
